As the season comes to a close, we reflect on our junior league finals that took place in September.

The finals are organised by the Foundation and take place in September at various clubs across Warwickshire and Birmingham.

We run Junior leagues aimed to suit to all skill levels, offering U9 softball for new players and U17 hardball for experienced players.

On the eve of Warwickshire’s league finals, Dorridge Cricket Club won the boys national U15 T20 competition at Lord’s, securing silverware.

Dorridge enjoyed a perfect record, winning by 20 runs against London’s Esher CC in the national final and defeating Didsbury CC in early September in the national semifinal.

The Warwickshire Cricket Foundation’s finals kicked off on Sunday, 8 September and wrapped up the following weekend, with rain impacting some of the matches.

This year, there were 316 team entries in the boys’ junior leagues, compared to 282 the previous year. A notable 12% increase demonstrates the remarkable growth of the boys junior game in the county.

During the summer, 35 girls’ teams, ranging from U11 to U15, participated in a softball festival, hardball league, or a cluster league.

Congratulations to the following clubs for winning in their respective age groups.
