We’re on the lookout for more volunteers to support match days at Edgbaston Stadium.
Over the years, Edgbaston has built a strong reputation for providing an exceptional match day experience, whether at a Bears T20 home game or during international fixtures.
A key part of this experience is the warm welcome extended to spectators by our dedicated match day volunteers, known as Cricketeers.
Cricketeers are on hand to greet, assist, and energise spectators before, during, and after the game, ensuring they fully enjoy everything Edgbaston has to offer.
Recognised for their friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable nature, Cricketeers play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service, working alongside Edgbaston’s stewards, staff, and long-time volunteers.

If you’re 18 years or older as of 1st May 2025, can speak and read English, are able to commit to at least four match days, and can attend an induction session at Edgbaston on Wednesday 30th April, we encourage you to submit an application.
As a Cricketeer, you’ll be responsible for tasks such as offering a warm welcome, participating in activations, guiding spectators, assisting those with additional accessibility needs, and much more.
While on shift, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the match from the stands around your volunteering duties, with lunch, uniform, and accreditation provided.
Additionally, there will be plenty of other volunteering opportunities at Edgbaston for you to get involved in.
