Join Warwickshire Cricket Foundation (WCF) as our Women and Girls’ Community Coach and play a vital role in growing female participation in cricket across diverse communities.

Based at Edgbaston Cricket Ground and reporting to the Women and Girls Community Manager, you will deliver high-quality women and girls’ coaching sessions across our community programmes, working closely with women’s groups from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds.

This role specifically requires a female coach as a genuine occupational requirement, reflecting the needs and preferences of the communities we serve. You will support community and education initiatives, including the Sandwell Cricket Education Programme, build strong relationships with community and external partners, promote WCF activities to schools and stakeholders, and ensure accurate monitoring and reporting in line with funding requirements.

We are seeking an experienced coach with a strong background in coaching women and girls, particularly within inner-city and culturally diverse communities, and a clear understanding of the barriers to female participation in physical activity. You will be committed to improving the physical and mental wellbeing of women and girls through sport and demonstrate full alignment with our PRIDE values – PassionRespectInnovationDiversity, and Excellence. Essential requirements include a recognised sports coaching qualification, first aid and safeguarding qualifications, enhanced DBS clearance, and a driving licence. In return, you will join a collaborative community team where success is measured through high-quality delivery, positive stakeholder feedback, continuous improvement, and meaningful engagement across multiple communities.
