The programme aims to give Super 1s players a taste of county cricket by playing regular competitive softball cricket games during the summer.
Super 9s, like Super 1s, is played with a softball but has a heavier focus on applying cricketing skills and knowledge in a more structured competitive format. The team play pairs matches against other counties in a festival based format.
Warwickshire are currently the 2023 regional champions.
The usual format for Super 9s is a 30-overs per side game. Currently, 29 teams across the county compete in regional competitions. Each regional competition ends in a regional final, which determines the regional winner.
