Women’s and Girls’

The female game is one of the fastest-growing forms of cricket across Warwickshire, and we’ve created more opportunities to meet this demand. Opportunities include competitive competitions in primary and secondary schools, softball cricket festivals, and a girls’ club pathway from U11 to adults.

If you have any questions about women’s or girls’ cricket, please contact our generic Women’s and Girls’ email at [email protected].

Girls’ Cricket

We offer cricket opportunities for girls of all ages, from school competitions to club pathways. Whether just starting out or developing skills, our programmes make cricket fun, inclusive, and accessible for everyone.

Our leagues give girls with some experience the chance to play competitive weekly matches against teams of a similar level, helping them progress and transition smoothly into hardball cricket.

Womens’ Cricket

We run our own women’s cricket programme, offering a range of opportunities for players of all abilities. This includes indoor leagues, softball cricket, a knockout Hundred Ball competition, and hardball leagues. Our aim is to create a supportive environment where women can enjoy the game, develop their skills, and connect with other players, whether they are playing competitively or recreationally.

For those seeking the most competitive hardball cricket in the county, we partner with the West Midlands Women’s League. The league is split into three divisions: Premier (often referred to as the “Birmingham League” of women’s club cricket), Division 1, and Division 2. It features the most experienced female hardball cricketers from the region, with Warwickshire pathway players forming the majority of teams.
