Play your part at Edgbaston

Edgbaston is renowned for its incredible matchday experience, whether at Bears T20 home games or international fixtures. A key part of this is the warm welcome spectators receive from our enthusiastic cricketeers.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to make a difference, while also gaining experience and developing valuable social and team-working skills.

Our cricketeers also support community engagement by representing the club at events and charitable initiatives, making volunteering a great way to give back.

Volunteering at Edgbaston is my ‘happy place’ and I love working with so many brilliant, like-minded people. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to volunteer for charities, music festivals and at national and international sporting events. This summer, as well as being a Cricketeer, I’m off to Berlin to volunteer at the World Student Games.

Rosie, Cricketeer

I have been a Cricketeer at Edgbaston for over 5 years now and the Cricket World Championships in 2019 was what got me really hooked here. I look forward to every game, catching up with the same group of Cricketeers and staff, and occasionally someone new to the team. A Cricketeer has to be prepared for a challenge. I would hate not to be able to come and long may I be here.
