Each winter, we deliver Glow in the Dark cricket programmes in secondary schools. Schools receive after-school cricket sessions leading up to a glow in the dark cricket festival.

As part of our Cricket Cities programme, schools participate in after-school cricket sessions for the final ten weeks of the autumn term.

At the festival, games are played in the dark with UV-reactive equipment and luminous coloured clothing to create an incredible glow-in-the-dark effect, while music plays throughout. Each school receives bibs, sweatbands, and face paint in a different fluorescent colour, while the stumps, bats, and balls are all taped to glow in the dark.

In December 2024, six schools competed in the festival. You can read the article here.
