In a wonderful gesture of support for our disability cricket programme, Warwickshire player Liam Norwell recently visited our Edgbaston hub to present new shirts and caps to our Super 1’s and Super 9’s teams. Liam’s visit not only brought a sense of surprise and excitement to our players but also offered a unique opportunity to learn from a player, that the players hold in very high regard.
After the ceremony, which took place at the Edgbaston Indoor Cricket Centre, Liam generously shared some tips with the squad during their net practise, that will undoubtedly benefit our team in the future.
The presentation of new shirts and caps by Liam held great significance for our players. We talk about being part of the Bears family and receiving their kit from a fellow Bear, will have certainly made the team like they belong. The presence of a professional player like Liam serves as an inspiration, reminding our players of the possibilities and rewards that can come with hard work, dedication, and passion for cricket.
