About Us

Welcome to Warwickshire Cricket Foundation (WCF), the driving force behind all recreational (non-professional) cricket in the county. In close collaboration with Warwickshire County Cricket Club, WCF is dedicated to making cricket accessible to everyone in Warwickshire. Our initiatives span across adults, boys, girls, and people with disabilities, covering activities in schools, community hubs, and local clubs. We work closely with the England & Wales Cricket Board “to inspire the next generation”. Through coaching and mentoring, we support the development of coaches, officials, and volunteers, crucial to the success of our affiliated clubs and associations.

Are you passionate about cricket and eager to make a difference in the lives of young women and girls? Here’s your chance to become a Women & Girls ACE Development Coach with the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation!

As part of our expanding African-Caribbean Engagement (ACE) programme, funded by the Commonwealth Games Legacy, we’re seeking a dedicated individual to lead the charge in developing cricket opportunities for women and girls across the West Midlands.

Your Role: You’ll be the driving force behind designing and implementing innovative cricket programmes tailored to engage and excite girls in our communities. From delivering dynamic coaching sessions in schools to hosting inspiring events at our ACE Community Hubs, you’ll create inclusive spaces where girls can thrive in the sport. Collaborating closely with our ACE Development Officer, and Women & Girls Community Manager, you’ll actively promote our female participation programmes, ensuring that every girl with a passion for cricket has the chance to shine. With your keen eye for talent, you’ll identify and nurture promising players, guiding them along the Warwickshire pathway to success. By forging strong partnerships with community organisations, you’ll expand our reach and impact, breaking down barriers and opening doors for girls of all backgrounds.  However, it’s important to note that this isn’t a typical 9-5 job; flexibility is required.
