There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in women’s softball cricket across Warwickshire.

This is our entry-level offer, designed to focus on participation and give women their first experiences of cricket, or for those who enjoy playing casually without the structure of leagues. It’s the perfect starting point for women who have recently taken up cricket, haven’t played matches before, or have just joined a club.

Teams can enter as complete sides (8-a-side) or join with others to form a team. The format is 8-over pairs cricket, with each pair batting for 2 overs and everyone getting the chance to bowl where possible. Our emphasis is on participation and, most importantly, fun.

Our softball festivals take place almost every Sunday throughout the summer at various locations across the county, depending on the hosting clubs. If you’re interested in hosting one, please get in touch with us.

Women’s Hundred Ball League

This is our more structured and competitive offer for teams who have played some softball cricket and are ready for more competitive games.

The format is 100-ball, 8-a-side, with 25 balls per pair. Matches take place in the later summer months of July and August. Similar to The Hundred, the league will feature eliminators and a finals day.
