On Friday, September 20, the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation welcomed 13 Cricket Collective winners to Edgbaston to receive their awards from Gavin Larsen, Warwickshire County Cricket Club’s Performance Director.

The Cricket Collective Awards celebrate volunteers who go above and beyond to help make cricket happen. Without these individuals, cricket would not function as it does at these clubs.

The Inspired to Play award is given to an individual or group within your club or community organisation going above and beyond to #raisethegame and open the game up to new audiences.

In recent years, Rosie Flynn has become the backbone of the junior section at Studley Cricket Club.

She has taken on additional coaching to support the junior players, as well as organising fixtures, promoting the club, and managing their All Stars and Dynamos programmes.

In 2023, Rosie played a significant role in establishing the club’s first-ever girls’ junior team and has continued to dedicate her time to its development.

Studley Cricket Club member, Gary Roberts, said “The club is thriving once more, thanks to the effort and enthusiasm Rosie is putting into it.”

“Even now as the season draws to an end, she is planning friendlies, organising new club kit, creating fundraisers for our club (and the wider community) as well as planning our junior presentation night where we can all celebrate the success of our junior section.”

Congratulations Rosie Flynn. We appreciate all the work you do to make cricket in Studley a safe and welcoming environment.
