Chris Kenny has recently begun his new role as Head of Community Cricket and Engagement.

Having been with the organisation for seven years, he brings a wealth of experience from his previous positions within the club and the community cricket scene.

Chris initially joined the Board/Foundation in November 2017 as a Club Development Officer. In 2021, he transitioned to the role of Schools Cricket Development Manager, and has progressed into his current role.

This newly established role is crucial for the delivery and growth of the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation’s community cricket activities.

Chris will collaborate closely with Josh, Stadium Programmes Manager, Evie, Community Programmes Manager and Jess, Women and Girls Community Manager, to coordinate community cricket initiatives in Warwickshire and Birmingham.

Additionally, Chris will oversee and lead the Foundation’s communications and marketing strategy.

Chris said, “Community cricket plays a vital role in the growth of the game in Warwickshire and Birmingham. I’m looking forward to developing our current programs and introducing new groups, communities, and individuals to cricket across the county.”
