The Warwickshire Access Team represents Warwickshire in disability cricket. We compete in Super 9s and D40, both ECB-led disability programmes.

Super 9s is an entry-level format for more experienced players participating in county-level disability cricket. In 2023, our Warwickshire Access Team won the Super 9s competition by defeating Derbyshire.

The D40 competition represents the highest level of hardball disability cricket. Each match consists of 40 overs per side and follows the same laws and regulations as traditional county cricket.

The Warwickshire Access Team is our disability cricket team representing Warwickshire. We compete in Super 9s and D40 matches against teams from counties such as Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Gloucestershire.

How to Join

We invite all players to join our Super 9s and D40 training sessions throughout the year.

We take part in friendly matches as well as ECB competition games during the summer (specific eligibility criteria apply).

Both the Warwickshire Super 9s and D40 teams train on alternate Saturday and Wednesday mornings at the Edgbaston Indoor Centre. If you’re interested in attending training sessions, please contact Nigel Perry-Ogden.

Champion Clubs

Clubs can support us by joining our Disability Cricket Champion Club Programme. Through the programme, we provide guidance, resources, and equipment to help clubs welcome players with additional needs.
