The Young Cricket Collective is a programme that gives 14-18 year olds the skills and confidence to umpire and score cricket matches.
We run the Young Cricket Collective in partnership with the ECB to give 14-18 year olds the skills and confidence to umpire and score cricket matches.
Through three face-to-face modules: Young Leaders, Young Officials, and Young Volunteers, participants learn the fundamentals of scoring and umpiring before putting their knowledge into practice in real match situations.
The course includes a nationally recognised qualification and is ideal for any 14-18 year old looking to deepen their understanding of cricket and get involved at their local club or school, with opportunities to use their new skills at matches, festivals, and tournaments, supported by ongoing mentoring.
