Bears Roadshow is set to return to Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club on Thursday 7th August, bringing together Warwickshire County Cricket Club’s first-team players and cricket fans for a day of family-friendly fun and sporting action.
Following the success of previous years, the day will once again combine recreational cricket, family entertainment, and opportunities for young fans to meet their cricketing heroes.
Organised in partnership with the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation, the Roadshow supports Warwickshire’s goal of growing the game and championing grassroots involvement across the region.
The day will kick off with the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation’s summer holiday camp, offering young cricketers the chance to play on the pitch ahead of the pros.
Followed by a T20 match between the Bears and a Warwickshire League representative side, featuring standout players from clubs across the Warwickshire League.
Adrian Maguire, Warwickshire County Cricket League General Manager, said “We are looking forwards to another fantastic game against the County XI. Last year was a great occasion despite the County XI being clear winners on the day, but we have selected a strong side and hope to repeat our victory of 2024.”
The action starts at 5pm, but fans can meet the Bears squad from 4pm for photos, chats, and autographs.
A dedicated family fun zone will run throughout, featuring cricket skills challenges, inflatables, and more, making it the perfect summer outing for families.
Tickets are free for under 16s and just £5 for adults. Tickets can be purchased on the day.
The Bears Roadshow will make its second appearance of the year on Monday 18th August, to celebrate Wellesbourne Cricket Club’s 200th anniversary.
