What is Bears Discovery?
The day is a four- hour visit to Edgbaston Stadium, for a class of up to 30 students (Years 4, 5 or 6) and includes 3 components:
Ground Tour: A guided tour of the iconic Edgbaston Stadium including access to restricted areas including the player’s dressing rooms, viewing gallery and the visitor and learning centre.
Edgbaston Classroom: A vibrant, exciting and stimulating classroom-based session here at the stadium. Students will work their way through a specially designed, cricket themed educational resource.
Cricket Session: Youngsters will take part in a practical cricket session in the Edgbaston Indoor Cricket Centre. The cricket session will be set around developing fundamental cricket skills in an inclusive, engaging and fun environment.
