Playing Cricket in a Colourful Way..

This year, we introduced Colour Cricket for the first time as an exciting new way to enjoy the game. Held before the Bears Women game versus Lancashire Women earlier this month, 55 girls from two local secondary schools took part in a round-robin cricket tournament.

The tournament was designed to make Cricket as accessible as possible, encouraging players of all skill levels to join in and experience cricket in a fresh and colourful way.

Colour Cricket is a great way to make the game feel more welcoming and accessible, especially for young people who might not have played before.
