Dynamos Cricket is a nationwide initiative created by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Dynamos Cricket provides a next step for children from All Stars Cricket and the perfect introduction for all 8-11 year-olds new to the sport. Dynamos is all about fun and provides children with a more social offer, focusing on developing the fundamental skills required to play cricket.

Every child who registers will receive their own Dynamos Cricket New Balance t-shirt, personalised with their name and number.

I am the National Programmes Officer, which means I am in charge of all things All Stars and Dynamos! For most of the year, my daily responsibilities involve assisting with the launch of All Stars & Dynamos courses at cricket clubs, as well as recruiting and training activators.

Become an Activator

National programme activators are the volunteers who aim to make positive cricket first impressions on hundreds of children and families across the country. Dynamos activators are trained to adapt activities to suit the needs of different groups and then either support or lead activities and skills on the Dynamos curriculum.

The course consists of two parts: a practical session and a virtual module.

What can my child and I expect at a Dynamos Cricket session?

Dynamos Cricket is an action-packed, fun programme centred around game play with each session including a skill building activity aimed at providing an active warm-up and focusing in on a skill for that week. During the programme, children will also play a game of countdown cricket each week, a format based on ‘The Hundred’.

How can I get involved as a parent?

An important part of Dynamos Cricket is that you can be involved too. It is a brilliant way for you to spend time with your child outdoors this summer. All parents and guardians are asked during the registration process if they would be interested in helping out during the programme.

How much does Dynamos Cricket cost?

The Recommended Retail Price for an eight-week programme is £40, which includes a personalised New Balance t-shirt for every child. Centres have the flexibility to determine their own price to ensure that it fits alongside their junior membership.

What does each child receive as part of Dynamos Cricket?

Each participant will receive a New Balance t-shirt with their chosen name and number on the back as well as a certificate provided by individual centres. All participants will have access to the Dynamos participant app where they can enjoy exclusive videos, weekly challenges and games.

How do I register?

Registration is simple and easy. When registrations open, just go to Find a Club under the Organise Cricket tab and use our session finder to find multiple centres in your local area. From there you can follow the registration links and pay online. If you are unable to find your centre, please complete the form at the bottom of the page for further information.
