The Warwickshire Cricket Foundation runs the Dynamos Cricket Intros initiative, which promotes inclusion by encouraging children from various communities to take up cricket.

The programme, funded by Sky Sports and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), offers free cricket sessions to young people in and around Warwickshire and Birmingham who have not previously had the opportunity to play. Due to the programme’s success in its first year, it was renewed for 2024.

The main goal of the programme is to provide more opportunities for children aged 8 to 11 in under-served communities to play cricket. It specifically targets children from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and those who receive free school meals.

The programme aims to introduce cricket to areas that have not previously been targeted. Over the past two years, sessions have taken place in various locations, including community centres, local parks, Multi-Use Games Areas, and mosques.
