Each winter, we deliver Glow in the Dark cricket programmes in secondary schools. Schools take part in after-school sessions leading up to a glow-in-the-dark cricket festival.
As part of our Cricket Cities programme, schools join after-school sessions during the final weeks of the autumn term.
At the festival, games are played in the dark using UV-reactive equipment and luminous coloured clothing to create an incredible glow-in-the-dark experience. Each school receives bibs, sweatbands, and face paint in a different fluorescent colour, while the stumps, bats, and balls are all taped to glow in the dark, with music adding to the atmosphere.
Several schools compete in the festival each year. You can read the article here.
