Funded by HS2, the project aims to promote physical activity among young people.

Launching for the first time in 2025, the project will make use of community spaces in Balsall Common to engage 11-16-year-olds in cricket activities, enhance their skills, create safe environments, and inspire a love for sports and recreation.

The goal is for participants to earn a Level 1 coaching qualification, join the coaching team during the project, and gain opportunities for part-time casual work with various partner organisations.

Launching this new project is another opportunity to empower young individuals through Cricket, and I’m extremely excited to get it off the ground running!
