Funded by HS2, the project aims to promote physical activity among young people.

Launched for the first time in 2025, we used community spaces in Balsall Common to engage 11-16-year-olds in cricket activities, help them develop their skills, create safe environments, and inspire a lasting love for sports and recreation.

Our goal was for participants to earn a Level 1 coaching qualification, join our coaching team during the project, and gain opportunities for part-time, casual work with various partner organisations.

Launching this new project is another opportunity for us to empower young people through cricket, and we’re really excited to get it off the ground!
