Over the last two years, the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation has welcomed hundreds of schoolchildren from Warwickshire and Birmingham to Edgbaston Stadium.

This year, students from 43 primary and secondary schools were invited to the stadium to watch some of the country’s best female cricketers play. Amy Jones, who previously played for England, Warwickshire, and Central Sparks, featured in the lineup.

The annual event is part of the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation’s ongoing efforts to raise the profile of women’s cricket, inspire future generations of cricketers, and promote physical and mental health through sport.

It’s such a fantastic day when we get to invite hundreds of school children to Edgbaston, and give them the match day experience here. Inviting schools and offering children the chance to visit a stadium and watch some of the best cricketers creates unforgettable memories.
