Warwickshire Cricket Foundation work within hundreds of schools every year, aiming to positively inspire children to continue playing cricket as they get older.

As a partner of Chance to Shine, a national cricket charity, we deliver cricket programmes in schools to Primary and Secondary school children. You can find out information about the work of WCF in Warwickshire below and what programmes your school may be eligible for.

Our school’s programme is one of the most successful in the country and was a big contributing factor to the WCF being named Chance to Shine’s County Board of the Year. I am fortunate enough to have a great team of coaches who are delivering programmes in local communities and making a real difference.

Secondary Competitions

WCF runs indoor competitions during the winter and outdoor competitions in the summer. If you would like to enter a team, you can learn about the competitions we run for different age groups, and how to enter.

SEND

Qualified WCF cricket coaches can deliver weekly sessions at your school or centre, ensuring that cricket is accessible for all through table cricket or adapted sessions.

Cricket Education Programme

This programme taught at Birmingham’s iconic Edgbaston Stadium, is designed to support a career in professional sports. A Level 3 BTEC certificate is achievable through a combination of academic and practical lessons.

Holiday Camps

WCF holiday camps are action-packed weeks of cricket coaching for children aged 7-14. You can find out what camps are running and how to book a place for your child.
