The Warwickshire Cricket Foundation works closely with SEND schools in Warwickshire and Birmingham to promote Cricket as an enjoyable and inclusive sport that young children may enjoy socially and/or competitively.

According to a Sport England survey, disabled persons are nearly twice as likely to be physically inactive; we aim to provide opportunities that make it possible for everyone to participate in cricket in order to improve their physical health.

If you’d like to learn more about how we could support your school, please email Nigel Perry-Ogden.

Table Cricket is so important as it gives young disabled people the opportunity to play and enjoy cricket in a way they wouldn’t have been able to before. It brings a lot of traditional cricket skills such as hand-eye coordination, understanding fielding positions but also it teaches the players about social skills which is a vital part of any team
