For the first time this year, the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation welcomed hundreds of schoolchildren from SEND schools across Warwickshire and Birmingham.
This year, 400 children from over 26 SEND schools were invited to the stadium to watch Warwickshire’s County Championship match against Hampshire.
The annual event is part of the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation’s ongoing efforts to inspire the future generations of cricketers, and promote physical and mental health through sport.

It’s such a fantastic day when we get to invite hundreds of school children to Edgbaston, and give them the match day experience here. Inviting schools and offering children the chance to visit a stadium and watch some of the best cricketers creates unforgettable memories.
