Edgbaston Sleepout

Edgbaston Foundation’s major fundraiser ‘Edgbaston Sleepout’ has raised over £50,000 over the last 3 years to combat youth homelessness in Birmingham and Warwickshire.

The Edgbaston Sleepout sees business and civic leaders from the city come together and brave a night under the stars at Edgbaston Stadium to raise vital funds for youth homelessness.

“We’ve had a strong commitment in fundraising to tackle homelessness over the last several years and I’m delighted we can carry this on with Land Aid. Sleeping out is an eye-opening experience; whilst doing so within the confines of Edgbaston stadium is only a glimpse into the reality many face on a regular basis.”

In addition, the Edgbaston Foundation have created a Bears Bursary to help ease the financial burden for young people under St. Basils care who are embarking on a University degree.

In February 2020, Edgbaston Foundation supported Land Aid to host a Sleepout at Edgbaston Stadium raising an additional £15,000.
