Edgbaston Foundation’s major fundraiser ‘Edgbaston Sleepout’ has raised over £50,000 over the last 3 years to combat youth homelessness in Birmingham and Warwickshire.

The Edgbaston Sleepout sees business and civic leaders from the city come together and brave a night under the stars at Edgbaston Stadium to raise vital funds for youth homelessness.

St Basils, a leading youth homelessness charity in the region is the club’s official charity partner.

Much of the fundraising emphasis supports St Basils who works closely with young people to enable them to find and keep a home, grow their confidence, develop their skills, increase opportunities and prevent homelessness.

In addition, the Edgbaston Foundation have created a Bears Bursary to help ease the financial burden for young people under St. Basils care who are embarking on a University degree.

In February 2020, Edgbaston Foundation supported Land Aid to host a Sleepout at Edgbaston Stadium raising an additional £15,000.
