Volunteers are the lifeblood of recreational cricket; without them, the game simply wouldn’t exist.

The majority of our county’s clubs, leagues, and associations are run by volunteers rather than paid staff. Volunteering is not only vital for cricket, but it also benefits the volunteers themselves. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping others learn new skills both on and off the cricket field.

The Cricket Collective Awards celebrate and recognise the amazing contributions of volunteers, coaches, and club members who go above and beyond to support cricket in their communities. Winners are celebrated for their dedication, commitment, and the positive impact they have on players and clubs across the county.

We recognise the vital role volunteers play in recreational cricket. Every year, we host the Cricket Collective Awards at Edgbaston, celebrating special groups of volunteers, presenting them with awards, and sharing their inspiring stories.
