Women's and Girl's Celebration Evening

For the first time ever, the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation will be hosting an exclusive celebration evening for women and girls at Edgbaston Stadium.

The Foundation is dedicated to promoting female engagement in all aspects of our work, focusing on activities that specifically address the needs of women and girls.

We aim to celebrate and reflect on these achievements and invite everyone from clubs, communities, and schools to join us in this celebration.

The event will take place on 28th February 2025 at 6:30PM (aged 16 and over).

Best New Girl’s Club

A club that has started a girl’s section in the last year. They have gone above and beyond for new players.

Best New Women’s Club

A club that has started a women’s section in the last year. They have gone above and beyond for new players.

Club of the Year

A women’s or girl’s club who have history of excelling on and off the pitch.

Young Volunteer

A young person who volunteers to help grow women’s and girl’s cricket in Warwickshire and Birmingham.

Female Coach

A female who truly is a coaching hero for their club, community or school.

Community Project

A women’s or girls’s community project with a significant impact on a local community.

Partner Recognition

A partner who has funded a project that supports the growth of women/girl’s cricket.

Game Changer

A young volunteer making a difference in the game (for 17-25-year-olds).

Overall Contribution

An outstanding individual who is actively supporting the growth of the women’s/girl’s game.

Volunteer

A volunteer who has dedicated their time in the last year to support women’s and girl’s cricket at their club or in the community.

Girls Secondary School the Year

A secondary school dedicated to regularly providing cricket opportunities.
