There are many opportunities to get involved in women’s softball cricket in Warwickshire.

This is the Foundation’s entry level offer, focused around participation and giving women their first experiences of cricket or for those who enjoy the casual playing without having the structure of leagues in place. This is the perfect start for women who have recently taken up cricket, haven’t ever played in matches before or recently joined the club.

Teams can enter these as whole sides (8 aside) or form a team with others. The format is 8 overs pairs cricket, with each pair getting 2 overs to bat and everyone to bowl where possible. The emphasis is on PARTICIPATION AND FUN.

Softball festivals take place nearly every Sunday throughout the summer in various locations across the county, depending on the hosting clubs. If you are interested in hosting, please contact me.

This is our more structured and competitive offer for those teams who have maybe played more softball cricket and want more competitive games.

The format is 100 ball, 8 a side, 25 balls per pair. These games will be played during the later summer months of July and August. Similar to The Hundred, there will be eliminators and a final’s day in 2025
