Clubs that sign up to the system can also take advantage of the ECB’s free public liability insurance offer through Howden Insurance.<\/h3>\n

On the portal, clubs provide details of individuals in key roles, including Club Safeguarding Officers, coaches, and captains, ensuring they are appropriately qualified.<\/p>\n

The Safe Hands Management System is another tool clubs can use to show their members and the wider community that they support and promote a safe game.<\/p>\n

    Club Safeguarding Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    • All clubs with junior sections and any club playing in a match where under 18\u2019s are present in open age cricket must meet safeguarding standards. \u200b\u200b<\/li>\n
    • The club must adhere to the ECB Safe Hands Policy and Procedures.\u202f\u200b\u200b<\/li>\n
    • Each club must have a trained and vetted Club Safeguarding Officer.<\/li>\n
    • All adults who work\/supervise children at the club have must have a current ECB DBS check in place.\u202f\u200b\u200b<\/li>\n
    • All adults who work\/supervise children in cricket must have undertaken the appropriate ECB training. \u200b\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
