{"id":7936,"date":"2025-06-01T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-01T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edgbaston.com\/foundation\/?p=7936"},"modified":"2025-05-28T13:52:31","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T12:52:31","slug":"happy-pride-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edgbaston.com\/foundation\/2025\/06\/01\/happy-pride-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Pride Month!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We would like to wish everyone a Happy Pride Month!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pride Month is celebrated in June to honour the Stonewall Uprising, a series of protests that began on June 28th 1969, in New York City, marking an important milestone in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Pride Month taking place from Sunday 1st June to Monday 30th June, we\u2019ll be celebrating the LGBTQ+ community with a series of events and activities, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Saturday, 24th May<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We proudly took part in the Birmingham Pride parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Friday, 6th June<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Warwickshire County Cricket Club will host the annual Rainbow Laces game, with players wearing rainbow laces to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sunday, 15th June<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re heading back to Sutton Coldfield Cricket Club to host the LGBTQ+ cricket festival once again. Cricket start at 12pm, followed by entertainment from 7pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tuesday, 24th June<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Join us for a cricket taster session.
