Haven Power

Haven Power supplies 100% renewable electricity to national and global businesses across the UK. They specialise in supplying customers with intensive energy demands, offering expertise and innovative related services to their customers.

Haven Power is part of Drax and are committed to delivering a zero carbon, lower cost energy future. Drax operates the UK’s largest renewable power generation plant, which is Europe’s largest decarbonisation project too. It’s also where Drax is piloting Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage, the ground-breaking negative emissions technology. The company’s world-leading ambition is to be carbon negative by 2030.

After agreeing a partnership with Edgbaston in 2018, Have Power have since developed to secure a three-year renewal as Official Energy Partner.

Partnership in action

As Official Energy Partner of Edgbaston Stadium, Haven Power are able to ensure the venue is powered by 100% renewable sources. Working with our facilities team and our Energy Management Partner Amber Energy, Haven have been able to support the stadium in our goal of becoming the most sustainable cricket venue in the UK.

Since making the move to Haven Power three years ago, they have supplied the ground with more than 3.8 GWh of renewable electricity, enough to power more than 1,000 UK homes for a year.

Additionally, Haven Power hold their annual conference at Edgbaston in which they explore the current market and promote what they’re doing.
