Access to the Ground
Edgbaston has excellent links with public transport, an on-site car park and a drop off zone, which make the experience of getting to Edgbaston incredibly easy. Access point on match day are not turnstile, with stewards independently scanning tickets and searching bags in open spaces, which are perfect for wheelchair users and those with assistance dogs. The car park at Edgbaston Stadium will have allocated blue badge parking, which needs to be booked in advance of our major match days and T20 games with the Ticket Office, as there is limited availability. Parking for these fixtures is priced at £15. Please ensure that you contact the Stadium well in advance of the fixture you wish to attend.Parking for Specsavers County Championship and Royal London One-Day Cup games does not need to be booked in advance and is free of charge.
At Edgbaston we pride ourselves on being able to offer world-class facilities that are accessible to everyone. Around the ground there are a number of wheelchair user area, which are located within the stands ensuring that fans are still a part of the fantastic Edgbaston atmosphere. The stadium is also accessibility friendly with a host of lifts, ramps and staircases around the ground. Additionally on match days our stewarding team are available to provide assistance and direction for all fans.
We have wheelchair access seating in the Motorpoint Upper, South Lower and Eric Hollies. There are also a selection of seats on the Skyline Terrace and then in our two members areas; the Tom Dollery Lounge and the David Heath Suite.
National Key Scheme
Edgbaston is a proud partner of the National Key Scheme (NKS) which offers disabled people independent access to locked public toilet. Toilets fitted with National Key Scheme (NKS) locks can now be found around the ground and our stewards will also carry a key for fans that are not part of the scheme or have forgotten to bring their key with them.
Wheelchair User Assistants
At Edgbaston we are proud to offer a FREE ticket for wheelchair wheelchair user assistants for all domestic cricket games and international fixtures. Tickets and parking for wheelchair wheelchair user assistants for international fixtures need to be purchased in advance of the fixture
Free commentary radios for blind and visually impaired spectators
We are pleased to offer all blind and visually impaired spectators complimentary earpiece radios, which provide live commentary for all domestic and international matches at Edgbaston, from the 2019 season onwards. Radios are available for collection from the main Club shop/ticket office.
