What is the best way to travel if I want to leave my car at home?

6 April 2020

Birmingham has great public transport links and we strongly recommend that you consider public transport so that you can make the most of your day with us.

For full travel information, please visit our Travel page.

Rail

Birmingham New Street Station is the main rail hub for the city with connections from all over the country. There are regular trains to Manchester and London, with a journey time under 90 minutes.

We recommend that you book your tickets in advance.

Shuttle Bus

Shuttle Bus service will be available for all Major Matches. It will also run on selected Birmingham Bears fixtures (excluding Sunday fixtures), please check the match Spectator Guide for details.

The 501 Shuttle Bus pick-up point is located from right outside New Street Station on Smallbrook Queensway (opposite TK Maxx and close to the Bullring). Buses will be running back from the stadium to the city centre after the close of play.

A return journey on the shuttle bus service is available for just £5 for adults and £3.50 for children. You can purchase on the day from the driver.

Public Buses

There are regular local buses to the ground from south-west Birmingham and the city centre. National Express buses 45 and 47 have services between the city centre and Pershore Road which is a 2-minute walk to the ground.

More information on local buses can be found online at nxbus.co.uk.
