Did you know that you’re entitled to a full refund or ticket exchange if bad weather cancels the match. Even though we’re confident that July and August will be full of blazing sunshine, we’ve put this in place so there’s no need to wait to book your tickets.

We know we say this alot, but as one of the only First Class Counties to offer this, we are extremely proud that for a fourth year in a row we are making all U16 tickets FREE. We know how expensive kids days out can be, so this makes our match days a day that everyone can come to!
4. KIDS ZONE
We’re thrilled to announce, not only is our FREE inflatable fun zone coming back for it’s third year, but due to the fantastic feedback from families it’s going to be open pre match before EVERY single fixture and bigger than ever!
5. LIVE MUSIC POST MATCH
Why not stay and party with us in the Exhibition Hall on our Friday nights? There will be live music covering everything from pop, rock and to current hits, plus the bars will stay open! This will be after play finishes for a full hour. So, let the rush of leaving the stadium pass and enjoy the live entertainment.
6. INTERNATIONAL STARS
Come and watch international cricket stars from around the world. Our captain, Jeetan Patel, is a former New Zealand player and our overseas player will be Australia star Ashton Agar – and of course England legends such as Ian Bell – will be in action and that’s just the Bears line up!

We pride ourselves on the food here at Edgbaston with a wide variety of options thanks to our suppliers, Fordhall Farm who provide us with all sorts of fantastic street food! Head over to Edgbaston Beach where you’ll find all kinds of different options, from Fish & Chips to our Hog Roast, to Halal and vegetarian options they’ll be something for everyone.
Plus, EVERY single food outlet will have a kids option, as well as kids lunch boxes available to order from our brand new Kids Kiosk.

Located just one mile from the heart of UK’s second city, Edgbaston Stadium is only minutes away from major motorway links, less than two miles from New Street Station and only seven miles from Birmingham International Airport. Plus, there’s on-site parking but remember to pre book!
11. SUMMER HOLIDAYS
All seven of our home games in 2019 will take place during the summer school holidays. We begin on Sunday 21 July with a clash against Leicestershire and end on Friday 30 August versus Yorkshire. With three Friday nights and three Sunday afternoon matches, there is something for everyone this summer.

13. BEER FESTIVAL WEEKEND
We are thrilled to have our Bears Beer Festival back in 2019, taking place for the Worcestershire Rapids match on Friday 23 August and Northants Steelbacks fixture on Sunday 25 August, with our official ale partner Marston’s Brewery.
They’ll be lots of different real ales to try, as well as a few different ciders to taste. Entry to the festival is completely free with a match day ticket and they’ll even be Birmingham Bears Beer to try, too!
14. EDGBASTON ATMOSPHERE
We pride ourselves on our legendary Edgbaston atmosphere, especially in our party stand, the Eric Hollies, on a Friday night! So bring your best fancy dress outfit and get ready for one of the best atmospheres in cricket.
15. AFTER WORK FRIDAY NIGHTS
We have THREE Friday night fixtures this year. Why not try our Skyline Terrace, that offers a more premium experience at an affordable price and is the ideal option for a night out with friends or colleagues. Often referred to as the best seats in the house, the terrace allows you to stand or take your allocated seat to watch the action on the pitch.
