Edgbaston’s 2020 Major Match Ticket Ballot is now open. The Ticket Ballot gives you the best chance of securing Major Match Day tickets at Edgbaston next year.

Birmingham’s Edgbaston Stadium will host a Test match between England and West Indies, from Friday 12 to Tuesday 16 June, before ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup champions England return to Edgbaston for an ODI with Ireland on Saturday 12 September.

Edgbaston will also continue to host the biggest day in the men’s domestic cricket calendar, with Vitality Blast Finals Day on Saturday 5 September.

How does it work?

2020 Membership is the only way to guarantee first access to Major Match tickets next summer. Membership will go on sale on Monday 9 September and tickets can be purchased before anyone else.

2020 Members do not need to enter the Ticket Ballot.

A second Priority Window will be given to contacts who purchased ticket for the first Ashes Test at Edgbaston this summer. This will take place from Monday 23 September. Please note, only the email address of the purchaser will receive an email for this window.

A Priority Window will also be given to Vitality Blast Finals Day 2019 purchasers. This will be to purchase Vitality Blast Finals Day tickets for 2020 only and will take place from Sunday 22 September.

An allocation of remaining tickets after these priority windows will be available via a public Ticket Ballot. Registration is NOW OPEN and closes at 5pm on Wednesday 25 September.

Ballot winners will be allocated from Friday 27 September.

*Please note, only a limited number of tickets will be available to buy during the ballot. We encourage spectators to purchase their tickets early during their allocated time slot to guarantee their tickets. All tickets subject to availability. 

Remaining tickets will go on general sale on Thursday 10 October (subject to availability).

Ticket Ballot 2020

The Ticket Ballot for 2020 is now closed. Winners will be notified via email from Friday 27 September.

Good to Know

At the time of registering, ballot entrants must be 16 and over.

Emails regarding the ballot will be sent to the contact details included in the registration process.

Those who enter the ballot are not guaranteed tickets. An email will be sent to entrants stating whether they have been successful or not from Friday 27 September.

A sales window will be given to successful ballot applicants, who will  be able to select seats to purchase for their chosen fixture(s). If successful applicants do not purchase tickets in the stated sales window, they will be unable to purchase their tickets until the general sale date of Thursday 10 October (subject to availability).
