The new Vitality Blast season is fast approaching with the first ever Blast Off double-header on Saturday 20 May.

In total, Birmingham will host seven match days across May, June and July as Twenty20 cricket returns. There will be big names, double-headers, live entertainment and the local derby against Worcestershire Rapids all to look forward to.

Early Bird ticket prices are still available for some matches, but these must end soon at midnight on Wednesday 3 May. Save £4 per ticket when purchased before this deadline.

Saturday 20 May, 2.30pm & 6.30pm

Vitality Blast Off: Bears v Vikings and Falcons v Lightning

A brand new concept will be launched in 2023 as four teams compete across two matches on the same day to start this summer’s T20 competition.

Fans will be able to watch both games, plus enjoy lots of live entertainment going on throughout the day. Start your summer right with Blast Off and watch some world stars in Birmingham.

Early Bird tickets are on general sale now from £25 for adults, £5 for under 16s.


Monday 29 May, 2.30pm

Bears v Lancashire Lightning

It’s our annual Family Fun Day as the Bears welcome Lancashire Lightning to Edgbaston on Bank Holiday Monday, 2.30pm start.

There will be plenty of family entertainment to enjoy around the stadium, including inflatables, live music, games and prizes to be won. More will be announced in the coming weeks…

Fans can get tickets for only £13 with our exclusive Early Bird offer, while under 16s are £5 and under 5s go free.


Saturday 3 June, 2.30pm & 6.30pm

Bears v Notts Outlaws and Central Sparks v Southern Vipers

Central Sparks return to Edgbaston to kick-off a double-header day against the Southern Vipers at 2.30pm, before the Bears take on Notts Outlaws from 6.30pm as part of a full day of T20 entertainment.

Watch stars of both the women’s and men’s games including Issy Wong, Moeen Ali, Amy Jones, Alex Hales and Danni Wyatt, to name a few.

This is also our Junior Bears takeover day, as our young fans get the opportunity to help with the running of a match day including a junior reporter and junior announcer role. Junior Bears Memberships are available for only £10.

Wednesday 7 June, 6.30pm

Bears v Derbyshire Falcons

Wednesday night T20 action against Derbyshire Falcons, for this match we will once again be honouring our blue lights services and offering tickets to local services.

The mid-week fixture is perfect for an after-work event and the match sits in the middle of the campaign with the Bears looking to put themselves in a place to secure a quarter-final place.

Friday 9 June, 6.30pm

Bears v Northants Steelbacks

It’s the first Friday night T20 of the summer as Northants Steelbacks, who will boast Australian duo Chris Lynn and Andrew Tye, travel to Birmingham for another big Vitality Blast match.

Start your weekend right with friends and stay after play to enjoy our post-match party in the Exhibition Hall. A number of group offers will be available from general sale, including discounts on food and drink.

Friday 23 June, 6.30pm

Bears v Worcestershire Rapids

The biggest T20 of the summer at Edgbaston. It’s the local derby against Worcestershire Rapids, a match which saw almost 17,000 in attendance in 2022.

Moeen Ali, now a Bear, will face his former side in front of a near capacity crowd, which guarantees to offer an electric atmosphere for the primetime Friday night match.

Sunday 2 July

Bears v Durham

The final home group match of the summer, the Bears host Durham in our only Sunday fixture of the season as we seek a place in the quarter-finals.

Fans can enjoy family entertainment and live music throughout the day as we end the group stages with a bang.

Over 13,500 tickets sold for T20 quarter-final

For a third year in a row, Bears have secured a home Vitality Blast quarter-final against Gloucestershire on Friday 6 September. And tickets are going fast!

Over 13,500 tickets have already been sold. Adults tickets are available for only £20, if purchased in advance, while U16s are £5.
