Fast bowler Katie George has been called up to England Women’s T20 squad for this weekend's series against Ireland.
George – who last represented England in 2018 – links up with newly signed Bears teammates Hannah Baker and Charis Pavely who are already in the touring party.
The trio – who are amongst the first to sign for Bears Women – will assemble in Dublin on Thursday ahead of the two-match T20 series against Ireland starting on Saturday.
George, age 25, made her England debut in March 2018 in a T20 against Australia. She made seven appearances for her country that year – five IT20s and two ODIs – taking six wickets.
Baker made her England debut in an ODI against Ireland on Saturday and marked it with a wicket in the four-wicket win.
