Birmingham Bears’ annual Family Fun Day, taking place on Sunday 29 May, will have a Commonwealth theme, celebrating countries taking part in this summer’s games in Birmingham.
Fans attending the match day, which will see the Bears men’s team take on Durham (2.30pm start) followed by Central Sparks women’s team against South East Stars, can enjoy a day full of family entertainment.
The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games team will be bringing their activation van, while attendees will be able to try their hand at a number of different sports including boxing, wheelchair basketball, table tennis and, of course, cricket.
Around the stadium, before the men’s Bears fixture we will have live music from a wide-range of musical acts – with full details to be announced. Live music will also take place during the interval between the men’s and women’s fixtures.
Food from around the commonwealth will also be available via outlets around the stadium through the day, plus the usual match day family activities including kids zone inflatables, face painting and inflatables.
Tickets are available now from only £19, while under 12s go FREE and 12 to 15-year-olds are £5. Further discounts are available for those who book as a group of six or more. Prices will rise on the day of the match.
