Experienced seamers Tim Bresnan and Craig Miles are making good progress from their injuries and could be involved in the back end of Warwickshire's Royal London Cup campaign.

Bresnan and Miles have been ruled out recently by calf and knee injuries respectively but were back bowling in the nets last Sunday and could be available for the last two RLC games.

It is another welcome sign of the Bears’ injury-list starting to lighten after Dan Mousley returned for the match against Yorkshire at York following a broken finger. Ryan Sidebottom is also only another week or so away from a return from a torn calf muscle.

Long-term injuries have ruled out Henry Brookes and Olly Stone for the season but Olly Hannon-Dalby and Liam Norwell are on track to return from heel injuries for the resumption of red-ball cricket at the end of August. Both are pencilled in to play the four-day 2nd XI game against Worcestershire at Worcester from August 23-26.

Another injury blow landed on the Bears at York when seamer George Garrett, having bowled excellently, pulled a hamstring. A timescale on his return has yet to be confirmed.
