Bears Business Club hosted their annual golf day at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club in Leek Wootton.

Bears Business Club hosted their annual golf day at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club in Leek Wootton.

Sponsored by T20 Lead Partner Talbots Law, the day saw partners, guests, and players network together, whilst playing 18 holes on a challenging Championship course alongside Club captain Will Rhodes, England and Warwickshire legend Ian Bell, Olly Hannon-Dalby, Jake Lintott and Craig Miles, plus others.

On the course, Sytner BMW Oldbury prevailed, winning the overall team prize alongside Jake Lintott.

In total, £1,550 was raised on the day for the Edgbaston Foundation, going a long way to providing opportunities and connecting communities local to Edgbaston Stadium.

Ben Seifas, Commercial Partners Manager, said: “The Warwickshire Golf Day is always a popular spot in the calendar, and it was great to see so many partners and guests enjoy the day.

“Personally, I’d like to thank Talbots Law for their lead sponsorship and Brookeson Material Handling for their hole sponsorship, as well as Will Rhodes, Ian Bell and Jake Lintott for taking part in the post-golf Q&A.

“Days such as this are about more than just golf and the support given from the our sponsors and playing cricket staff makes these events so special.

“The Bears Business Club is designed to bring together the local business community through exclusive events and networking opportunities across the year and this was one of those fantastic occasions.”

The date for the Warwickshire CCC Golf Day 2023 will be confirmed in the coming months, please contact georgeshakespeare@edgbaston.com if you wish to express early interest.

The next event in the Bears Business Club calendar is the Players Awards Dinner, taking place on Saturday 1 October.
