Warwickshire CCC Golf Day returned to The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club in Leek Wootton, with over 70 golfers in attendance.
Starting with a networking opportunity over breakfast, partners and guests enjoyed 18 holes on the Championship Kings Course alongside current members of the Warwickshire dressing room.
On the course, Dragon Signs were the big winners, securing the overall team prize, plus two individual awards, whilst Paul Stephens (Brookeson Material Handling) made Bears Business Club history.
Using a mid-iron on the par 3 17th, Paul struck the first ever hole-in-one to win a one-week rental of the BMW all electric iX50, courtesy of Sytner Solihull.
Following the round, all participants were served a three-course dinner, in the company of Ady Wheatcroft – Director of Golf at Ace Golf Challenge.
Having already beaten most of the room by hitting off a gym ball or on one leg, Ady then treated golfers to a highlights reel showcasing the best and worst shots of the day.
Following huge generosity from all in attendance, over £2,000 was raised on the day for the Edgbaston Foundation and Midlands Air Ambulance.
Ben Seifas, Head of Sales & Partnerships, said: “The Bears Business Club is all about bringing together the local business community through exclusive events and networking opportunities.
“Events, such as the golf day, allow us to not only meet and talk with our partners, but help them interact and engage with each other in an informal setting.
“It’s always a popular event and I want to thank our sponsors and partners, who have helped make this event a success. We look forward to welcoming Bears Business Club members and partners for 2024’s renewal.”
