Birmingham Bears have confirmed arrangements for a home Vitality Blast quarter-final, should they finish in the top two of the North Group.
Subject to qualification, the Bears will host a home quarter-final at Edgbaston Stadium on Thursday 7 July with a 6.30pm start. Confirmation of a top two finish and the quarter-final opponent will be confirmed on Sunday (3 July) following the final round of group fixtures.
Tickets for the match will go on general sale on Monday 4 July at 3pm.
The game will not be televised by Sky Sports, but will be streamed online at edgbaston.com.
Full Club Members and Season Pass holders for the 2022 season will be able to attend the fixture for free by simply scanning their Membership Card at the stadium entrance points. Members and Season Pass holders will also have a priority window to purchase any additional tickets on Monday from midday.
Adult tickets will be available for only £10 in advance and £15 when purchased on the day. 12 to 15-year-olds will be £1 and under 12s will go free.
Fans who book as a group of six or more will make further savings, with £1 off per ticket when booking six to nine tickets and £2 off per ticket when purchasing 10+ tickets.
Sales & Marketing Director Alex Perkins said: “We’ve been working with ECB over the last few weeks to try and accommodate a home quarter-final at Edgbaston, despite the LV= Insurance Test Match and Vitality IT20 taking place in the same week.
“We’re delighted that we’ve been able to make this work and hopefully give our Members and fans the opportunity to support the Bears in a big quarter-final at home, depending on the outcome of the final round of matches.
“If we finish in the top two places, we hope Members, fans and the local community will come out in force to make it a memorable occasion and we have reflected this ambition with a one-off pricing model in order to create another special Edgbaston atmosphere.”
Bears face Lancashire Lightning on Sunday 3 July at 6.30pm in the final fixture of the North Group. A win will guarantee a home quarter-final.
If the Bears lose to Lancashire, Derbyshire Falcons would need to beat Durham and overturn a significant net run-rate deficit to finish ahead of the Bears in second place.
Members will have a priority window to purchase additional tickets at 12noon on Monday 4 July, with tickets going on general sale from 3pm on Monday 4 July. Tickets will be available to buy online at tickets.edgbaston.com.
Members will not be able to use any guest passes for this match.
