Warwickshire County Cricket Club has confirmed fixtures with Hampshire in the upcoming men’s team pre-season tour at La Manga Club, Spain.
With all travel and accommodation elements of the tour managed by Sporta Group, the Bears bowling attack will depart for La Manga Club on 6 March for a dedicated conditioning programme, before the remaining members of the squad arrive on 10 March. Here they will play Hampshire in a two-day fixture starting on 18 March and two T20 fixtures on 20 March.
La Manga Club has made great strides in recent years to develop the European Cricket Centre, which is an outstanding facility to support teams in the professional game, and it is the ideal venue to base ourselves for the closing elements of our pre-season programme.

The squad return to Birmingham on Saturday 21 March ahead of the friendlies with Leicestershire 26-27 March and Worcestershire 31 March-2 April.
“Being able to play a fellow Division One county, in Hampshire, at La Manga Club is an excellent addition to our pre-season schedule,” said Paul Farbrace, Sport Director of Warwickshire CCC.
“The squad is spending a lot of time in the Edgbaston Cricket Centre as part of our preparations, but nothing can replicate the game time outside and being able to train on grass pitches.
“La Manga Club has made great strides in recent years to develop the European Cricket Centre, which is an outstanding facility to support teams in the professional game, and it is the ideal venue to base ourselves for the closing elements of our pre-season programme.”
