Warwickshire’s fixtures for Division One of the LV= Insurance County Championship have been released with the Bears hosting Hampshire and Somerset and travelling to Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Entering the divisional phase of the competition on top with 21 points, having recorded two wins over fellow Division One side Nottinghamshire, the Bears start the campaign away to Lancashire at Emirates Old Trafford on Monday 30 August.

Warwickshire then return to Edgbaston to face Hampshire on Sunday 5 September before travelling to Emerald Headingley for the match with Yorkshire on Sunday 12 September. The divisional Championship campaign finishes at home to Somerset on Tuesday 21 September.

After 10 Group Stage matches, the 18 first-class counties have progressed to three divisions based on points accrued. The top team in Division One, after the completion of the divisional stage, will be crowned as county champions.

The top two teams in Division One will also progress to a showpiece five-day Bob Willis Trophy final at Lord’s from Monday 27 September.
