Warwickshire legends Dermot Reeve and Asif Din are set to return to Edgbaston to host an exclusive Q&A for Club Members on the first day of Warwickshire’s Day/Night Specsavers County Championship match with Lancashire.
Taking place in the Tom Dollery Lounge during the first interval of the day on Monday 26 June, Dermot and Asif will talk through their experience of the club’s golden years in the mid-1990s as part of a special Tea with Official Legal Partner, FBC Manby Bowdler.
Dermot, who played 315 games for the club across all formats between 1988 and 1996, is one of the most decorated players in Warwickshire history, having captained the Bears during the historic treble-winning season of 1994 and double success in 1995.
Fans favourite Asif enjoyed a 14-year career with the Bears and is most fondly remembered for a Man of the Match century in the NatWest Trophy Final at Lord’s in 1993, where the Bears chased down an improbable 322 to beat Sussex by five wickets.
The Q&A with Dermot and Asif is completely free to all Pavilion Members in the Tom Dollery Lounge.
