Warwickshire Bears are delighted to announce the return of the popular Bears Podblast, which re-launches tonight in collaboration with BBC Radio WM.

The refreshed podcast will bring supporters closer to the action than ever before, with Bears stalwart Olly Hannon-Dalby continuing in the co-hosting role alongside BBC Radio WM’s Richard Wilford.

The Bears Podblast will deliver regular episodes throughout the season, featuring exclusive player interviews, behind-the-scenes insights, match analysis, and stories from inside the Bears camp. The partnership with BBC Radio WM will ensure a high-quality, engaging production that connects with both loyal Members and new audiences alike.

Hannon-Dalby said: “I’m really looking forward to getting started on the Podblast with Richard. It’s a great way for us to connect with the fans and give them a genuine insight into life at the club, both on and off the field. Hopefully we can have a bit of fun with it as well.”

Richard Wilford added: “The Bears are such an important part of the region’s sporting identity, and the Podblast is a brilliant way to bring supporters even closer to the club. Working alongside Olly gives us a fantastic opportunity to provide real insight and access that fans won’t get anywhere else.”

Episodes will be available on BBC Sounds and BBC Radio WM’s digital channels, making it easy for supporters to stay connected wherever they are.

Bears’ Head of Media & Communications Matt Joule said: “The Bears Podblast proved hugely popular with supporters in recent years, so we’re thrilled to work with BBC Radio WM to bring it back for 2026. With Olly and Richard at the helm, fans can expect honest conversations, unique access, and plenty of personality throughout the season.”

The first episode of the new series will air on Tuesday 26 May and will feature Bears’ captains Ed Barnard and Georgia Davis. Fans are encouraged to subscribe and follow to ensure they don’t miss a moment.
