Reigning LV= Insurance County Champions Warwickshire have unveiled a new look shirt, from official kit supplier PlayerLayer, for the defence of their title.
Set to be worn by Will Rhodes’ team on 7 April when the new first-class season gets underway at home against Surrey, the new shirt sees a yellow trim return alongside navy to ensure that all three of the traditional Warwickshire County Cricket Club colours are represented.
It also features eight individual stars on the sleeve to mark all of Warwickshire’s multiple County Championship titles.
Chris Airey, Head of Marketing & Brand, said: “We’re very proud of the team’s eighth Championship win last year and we wanted to ensure that this is reflected in the shirt’s design and recognised every time the team take to the field.
“It’s been a few years since we’ve refreshed the design of the Championship shirt and we’re delighted with this new look, incorporating all three of our traditional navy, yellow and white colours following feedback from Members and supporters.”
Warwickshire Members and supporters can now pre-order the new County Championship replica shirt online at edgbastonshop.com ahead of its arrival in Store ‘94 at Edgbaston next month.
