The Birmingham Bears take on the Durham Jets this Sunday at 1.00pm. Join us from 11am for our Real Ale Festival for the adults and then our FREE Bears Kids Zone will be open before the match for young Bears fans. Plus, stay after play and catch the World Cup Final on the big screen in the Exhibition Hall.

Kids Zone – Pre Match Fun

Our Kids Zone is full of inflatable fun, with activities for all ages! Including bouncy castles, surf simulators and a gladiator duel to name a few! This will be open when gates open (2 hours before the start of play) and will close as the game gets underway.
All completely FREE with a match day ticket.
Please note all Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 18. Unaccompanied children will not be admitted to the stadium.

Bears Face Painting

Find your way to the our professional face painting team before the start of play! Kids can get their face painted like a Bear by the Impeccable Parties team.

Giveaways

Look out for our volunteers who will be giving out a whole host of freebies including clappits, hairy handbands and first time lanyards to name a few. We advise fans to get there early, we have a limited amount of giveaways and once they’re gone – they’re gone!

Bears Beer Festival

On July 13 and July 15, our Ale Partners Marston’s Brewery are bringing back the popular Bears Beer Festival which is now into it’s third year here at Edgbaston Stadium. Housed in the Exhibition Hall, entry to the festival is completely FREE with your match day ticket. There will be over 50 real ales and ciders to try, including some well known favourites.

If you’re sitting in the Eric Hollies Stand, get photos of your authentic reactions to the game with Snaptivity. Go to  and enter your seat details at Edg.snaptivityapp.com. Share and don’t forget to tag your friends!

Parking

All on- site parking is sold out (included disabled parking) unless you have a car park season ticket or have parking included in your membership. There is still some spaces available to purchase in the Blue car park in Calthorpe Park which is accessed via Pershore Road/Edward Road (B5 7PH).   Any remaining spaces for this car park will be available on the day on a first come, first served basis.

Public car parking may also be available on a pay and display basis in Cannon Hill Park and/or the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Centre, but note that these car parks are not operated by the Club.

If you are parking on site, please use post code B5 7QU to find us. However, please use the Pershore Road entrance as the main entrance off Edgbaston road will be CLOSED.

Buses

For Sunday 15 July there will be no shuttle buses from Birmingham city centre, however there are plenty of public buses to utilize.

From Broad Street and Five-Ways Island
Service 1 stops outside the ground on Edgbaston Road.
From Bullring (Debenhams bus stops) & Moor Street Station)

Services 45 & 47 provide a frequency of up to every 5 minutes stop on Priory Road, Pershore Road which is only a few seconds away from the ground.
From Bullring (Debenhams bus stops)

Services X61, 63 & X64 stop on Priory Road, Bristol Rd which is a couple of minutes walk from the ground.
From Bullring (Selfridges Entrance) & Digbeth Coach Station

Service 35 takes you just a few minutes walk away from the ground on Willow Road, Edgbaston Road

Go direct to Edgbaston on your local bus from Harborne & Hagley Road

Virgin Trains – 10% Off Advanced Fares

As part of the new agreement, Virgin Trains – which operates services to and from Birmingham New Street – will provide discounted fares to Warwickshire Members, international spectators and event delegates who are travelling to the stadium.

Birmingham New Street which is 2 miles away from the Stadium. There are a further 2 main train stations in the City Center, Moore Street (3.1 miles away) and Snowhill (3.4 miles away).

Head over to the Beach area where we have some fantastic food outlets available. From BBQ to Caribbean there’s a huge variety, all open from 11am..

Picnics are allowed in the stadium – however, glass bottles, cans and alcohol are prohibited.

Cubs Corner

For first time we have a dedicated food stand that is especially for children. Located in the Exhibition Hall, ‘Cubs Corner’ has lunchboxes for sale as well as treats and snacks. All food stalls also have a kids option – a £5 offer which will also include a bottle of water.

Around the ground, every food outlet will have a kids option- all £5 with a bottle of water included. Some examples of this are:

Dietary Information

In terms of GF/Vegetarian(V)/Vegan(VG)/Halal options each trader on the day will have all the product information and will be happy to come up with some options for customers.

Under 16s Information

All Under 16s MUST be accompanied by an adult – otherwise they will not be granted entry. All Under 16s go completely free but they will need a ticket – please collect one of these from a steward or the club shop.

Free Stadium Wi-Fi

Working with the ECB and The Cloud, Edgbaston has installed a state of the art free Wi-Fi available for all spectators in 2018. To connect search for Wi-Fi networks and select “_The Cloud” upon connection login using your existing Cloud account or complete a once only registration form.

Prayer Area and Baby Changing Facility

Edgbaston has a prayer room, which is accessible throughout play, located on the first floor of the West Stand by the entrance to the Visitor & Learning Centre. In the South Stand on the concourse, you will also find a baby changing facility should you require this.

A smiling band of volunteers together with Edgbaston’s experienced team will be on hand throughout the day to assist, direct and generally ensure you have a great time at Edgbaston so please don’t hesitate to ask them should you need directions or have any other questions.
